Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

TeamDocks is a product operated by Grunow Systems ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we process when you use TeamDocks, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

Grunow Systems. Email: marcello.grunow03@gmail.com. Full details in our Imprint.

2. What data we process

  • Steam login data: when you sign in via Steam OpenID we receive your SteamID64, public persona name and avatar. We never see or store your Steam password.
  • Gameplay data: match results, share codes and demo files associated with your SteamID64, sourced from Valve's game coordinator and the CS2 demo files themselves, to compute scoreboards, ratings and trust scores.
  • Account & usage data: login timestamps, subscription tier, in-app settings (e.g. leaderboard visibility preferences), and reports you submit about other players.
  • Technical data: IP address and standard web server logs (for security, abuse prevention and debugging), and a session cookie required to keep you signed in.
  • Anti-abuse data: when submitting a player report we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving CAPTCHA alternative, to prevent automated abuse.

3. Why we process it (legal basis)

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessary to provide the service you sign up for – match analysis, trust scores, leaderboards) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service, preventing cheating/abuse, and keeping the platform secure.

4. Cookies

We use one strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Third-party services

Depending on the feature you use, data may be shared with or sourced from:

  • Valve/Steam: for login (OpenID) and to fetch public profile and match data.
  • Leetify and FACEIT: publicly available third-party stats we display alongside our own analysis, where a player has a public profile there.
  • Cloudflare: content delivery and Turnstile bot protection.

If TeamDocks introduces paid subscriptions with card payment, billing will be handled by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor (e.g. Stripe) – we do not store your card details ourselves.

6. Data retention

Match and profile data tied to your SteamID64 is retained for as long as it is useful to the service (e.g. rating history, trust score context). You can request deletion of your account data at any time; see your rights below.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at marcello.grunow03@gmail.com.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encrypted transport, access-controlled infrastructure) to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
